On Wednesday the children in 2H did some fantastic festive baking and made some delicious mince pies.

They measured out flour, sugar and butter using the scales. They the mixed the ingredients together in a bowl to make pastry. The made the cases by pushing a ball of pastry into the tin and then rolled out some more to make the lids.

They had great fun baking and took home their homemade pies to share with their families!
