‘Golden’ Children for the Autumn Term

As you know every Friday each class chooses children to go in the golden book who have done something we want to celebrate that week. At the end of each term for the final golden book assembly a child is chosen from each class who has been outstanding in a particular area or areas all term! We are very proud of these children and want to share their achievements with you. Below are this terms winners and why they were chosen.

 

Class 1B—Riley

Riley has been chosen as he has made fantastic progress with his reading and numeracy skills this term. He is also making sensible choices and is, in Toni’s words, ‘A little star!’

Class 1T—Nicole

Nicole has been chosen for being a perfect role model in all aspects. She has made excellent progress in all areas of the curriculum and she is a pleasure to have in the class.

Class 2H—Hayley Jade

Hayley-Jade has made great improvements this term across all areas of learning but particularly in literacy. She always tries her best and her achievements are helping her confidence improve.

Class 2B—Dren

Dren was chosen as he has made excellent progress in all subject areas this term, particularly in maths. Dren never gives up—what a great    quality. Keep it up!

Class 3M—Thyra

Thyra has had a brilliant term and has made amazing progress in maths in particular. She is always quietly and determinedly working, thinking and questioning. On top of that she works well in a team and listens to her class mates. Well done Thyra.

Class 3N—Rhys

Rhys has been chosen for his fantastic attitude towards reading, writing, and maths.  In addition, he has done some excellent work with Francine too.  Well done, Rhys, you are a star learner and we are all very proud of you!

Class 4A—Mohammed

Mohamed thoroughly deserves this award for all his hard work and the effort he puts into each piece of work he does, both at school and at home. Dedication to his learning means that he is becoming an           outstanding learner, and a brilliant role model.

Class 4M—Mia

All term Mia has been a great learner. She has given 100% at all times, challenged herself and ensured she has put a great attitude to good use as we’ve all seen an improvement in her reading, writing and maths. Additionally, she is always patient and polite, helpful and caring.

Class 5C—Lamya

Lamya is a pleasure to teach. All term she applied herself in all areas and has made excellent progress. She is always the first person ready to work, makes superb contributions and listens to others. Well done Lamya, you are a credit to 5C and Brecknock.

Class 5M—Anisa

Anisa is making great progress in all areas of her learning. Her behaviour and attitude is exemplary, which does not go unnoticed. Anisa can apply herself independently and is an asset to any group or partner work. She really is an all-round fantastic learner and great friend. Well done.

Class 6G—Liam

Liam been hardworking and determined this term! He has had an       absolute amazing start to Year 6 and we’re very proud of him. His      positivity and perseverance is infectious! if he continues this amazing attitude next term we know he will do well. Well done!

Class 6M—Adi

The progress that Adi has already made this term has been amazing. He now has a mature and hard-working attitude towards all his work and his outcomes have been outstanding. He is more confident and gets more involved in whole class discussions. Keep it up Adi, well done.
