Flying High on the London Eye

Last week Year 2 set out into central London to look at some of the cities iconic buildings and to take a flight on the London Eye. They were blessed by sunny weather as they walked along the Southbank and drew the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The Gherkin and St Pauls. There were a few nerves before boarding the Capsule, but fears were overcome as the children enjoyed the spectacular views of the city. The knowledgeable guides provided facts and amusement throughout the experience. The children had a fantastic day and learnt a lot about the buildings of London.
