School Journey- Day 2

School Journey – Day 2

It’s been an action packed day at school journey. This morning the children were faced with a range of difficult problems, involving moving giant wooden skis in unison, crossing a ‘lake’ using only a limited number of stepping stones (tyres!) and making shapes out of a number of different sized objects. There were many more challenges, all requiring clear communication, excellent teamwork and a positive ‘can do’ approach.

During the afternoon, the groups enjoyed having a go at the activities that they didn’t do the previous afternoon. Children were spotted swinging from trees, walking blindfolded across fields and shooting arrows like Robin Hood.

After a good feed, the children are now settling down to some diary writing; watching darkness fall, ready for the night walk! Let’s hope there are no howling wolves out on the prowl!

Apologies for the lack of photos on the website – the Internet is basically non-existent, making it extremely difficult to upload lots of photos. Please look at the school Twitter as we have managed to post photos on there!!
