Reception Tropical Fruit and Chocolate Kebabs

As part of our book study ‘The Leopard’s Drum’, we found out that the story is set in Africa, in the Ashanti region where a delicious chocolate is made. We learnt how the cocoa beans are collected and turned into chocolate.
Then we made tropical fruit and chocolate kebabs. We used bananas, pineapples, grapes and strawberries.
We were kindly loaned the chocolate fountain from the PTA and we had such fun dipping our fruit kebabs into the delicious chocolate. A messy but tasty time for us all, especially Viv who was not allowed to lick her fingers!
