Did you know?

Year 5 have been learning about the solar system in their IPC lessons and they are completely amazed! They had the opportunity to learn new facts and then to share them with their peers. The aim was to hear and memorise as many facts as they could.

Here are some of their favourite facts:

  • Mercury was named after the Roman god of messengers
  • Jupiter is made of gas, mainly hydrogen and helium
  • Neptune has 60,190 days in a year!

The children have so many questions about space, and they can’t wait to find out more!
