Year 6 arrived at Margaret McMillan House this morning for the first of 5 days of fun filled adventure! The children quickly got settled into their rooms and made their beds (more of a challenge for some than others!) before tackling the Anderson Challenges. All the groups worked well together and learned the value of teamwork and how important it is to read instructions before starting! Afterwards, most of the boys enjoyed a game of football (Abdi, Dion and Aryen in particular displaying silky skills even in wellies!). while Levi, Sahra, Marie, Amelia, Shelley and Catia enjoyed getting very muddy jumping around in the puddles. Ella and some of the others went for an adventure in the woods hunting out chestnuts and mushrooms. Then it was dinner, diary, showers, games and movie. Everyone is looking forward to tomorrows activities.
