As part of our The Great, The Bold and The Brave topic, Cuba have been exploring mosaic designs and have been working together as part of a collaborative art project to create a whole-class mosaic. The focus of the project was centred around teamwork as we were looking at how many individual elements make up a very effective whole. First we explored pattern and shape using different media, then we created eco-friendly food mosaics using traditional Roman colours and finally we have used geometric tiles to produce a class design which ties into our PSHE theme.
