In Literacy, Year 2 have been reading The Princess and the White Bear King.

In the story, the Princess has embarked upon a dangerous journey to find the White Bear. Along the way, she calls at some houses and is given some things to take with her on her quest – a tablecloth, some silver scissors and a golden cup.

The Princess soon discovers that these are no ordinary objects, but in fact have magical powers that can help her on her way.

We designed our own magical objects. Just like the ones in the story, they look like everyday items but can do something incredible!
