London Eye and St Paul’s Cathedral!

Year 2 braved the miserable weather to visit two iconic London structures: The London Eye and St. Paul’s Cathedral.  The children were extremely excited to see the London Eye (some for the very first time), and were able to point out many other iconic buildings from the views aboard!  We saw: Buckingham Palace, the Shard, BFI Imax, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the BT Tower to name a few!

The children then walked along South Bank and over the Millenium Bridge to St. Paul’s Cathedral.  There, we learned about the history and art inside, as well as the ‘Great Fire of London’.  That’s our next topic!  Finally, we climbed up the Dome to the Whispering Gallery – some of us even went to the very top!

What a great experience!  Thank you to the parents who came along with us!
