Hawaii – Varjak Art

As we go deeper into our class text, Varjak Paw, the children have been re-imagining key scenes.  Using the vocabulary from the text, the children have been using charcoal to draw the image from the given description:

“Wide open gardens jostled with narrow alleys,
sharp pointy spires topped soft, curved domes.
Concrete blocks loomed over bright, painted billboards.”
