Did you know that 24 million slices of bread are wasted on average every day in the UK? To help you cut back on any bread waste at home, Keep Britain Tidy are hosting a free cookery workshop on Tuesday 5th March 2019 in the Dining Hall at Brecknock Primary School.

Come along to the workshop to see a demonstration by our professional chefs of how to make bread and butter pudding, before getting the chance to make and eat a delicious panzanella salad for yourself!  The workshops were recently featured on BBC Breakfast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUaumxE5Jk4&feature=youtu.be and in the Guardian newspaper: https://www.theguardian.com/food/2019/jan/29/campaign-launched-to-curb-the-waste-of-12bn-uk-bread-crusts

The workshop is child friendly, so please do feel free to bring your little ones along. In fact, all Camden residents are welcome, so feel free to invite your friends and family! Bring along some Tupperware too as you’ll likely be able to take some tasty food away with you.

The workshop will kick off at 3:30pm following the end of the school day.

If you would like to take part please inform the school office or sign up on the Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/save-a-crust-camden-free-cookery-workshop-tickets-54758991618
