Today was Brecknock Debate Day. Our motion was ‘This house believes that anyone who chops down the rainforest trees should be sent to prision.’ It was a lively debate with good arguments presented by both sides. In the end the vote was very tight. The motion was narrowly defeated by the opposition with the audience deciding that they did not feel people should be sent to prison. Well done to everyone who took part and the audience for listening so attentively.
