Today in assembly the Brecknock Recorder Ensemble performed a Chinese song entitled ‘Jasmine’. They were fantastic! The Chinese New Year Celebrations start on Monday and go on for 10 days. Gong Xi Fa Cai as they say in Mandarin or Gong Hey Fat Choy if you prefer Cantonese! We hope the year of the Monkey is a fruitful one for us all.
