These priorities are a summary of the school improvement priorities for this academic year (2024-25).

Effectiveness of Leadership and Management

  • To implement the  Federation Teaching and Learning Principles through the professional development programme, including Instructional Coaching.
  • To further embed key expectations for consistency of implementation and monitoring of impact in every subject by middle leaders.
  • To better meet the diverse needs of all children, particularly those with SEND.

Quality of Education

  • Mathematics: To improve accuracy in factual knowledge to aid fluency and secure understanding.
  • Writing: To improve writing through direct instruction and feedback.

Behaviour and Attitudes

  • To ensure all children understand how to establish respectful relationships, including being safe online.
  • To support families to reduce incidences of persistent absence for vulnerable groups and continue to improve overall attendance.

Personal Development

  • To ensure a coherently planned, high quality entitlement offer is available for all children across the Federation.
  • To further integrate sustainable development concepts into the curriculum encouraging student participation in sustainability initiatives and decision-making processes.
  • To work with families to overcome any social barriers impeding attendance, behaviour and attainment.

Effectiveness of Early Years

  • To continue to develop communication and language through the Camden Kids Talk programme.
  • To continue to develop self-regulation and social and emotional approaches to improve pupil outcomes (particularly those with SEND needs) at the end of Reception.
  • To ensure the school’s continuous provision meets the curriculum aims and provides opportunities for progression across all learning areas indoors and outdoors.
